Busy Times

The geek Girl Dinner was terrific on Friday and the chat was wonderful. Alas in the excitement I forgot my camera so I have no new photos at the moment.

Saturday dawned wet and blustery, but we wrapped up well and braved the elements. We were joined by some of the Photo Bloggers for a late lunch and the chat continued until the early evening.

The weather showed no sign of improving so we headed home to Grannymar Gables and enjoyed ‘Hot Ports’ as we warmed our toes around a real fire! Cosy thoughts!

Normal posting will resume shortly in the meantime a little brightness for you:

This photo was taken way back in April this year.

    Busy times indeed, Grannymar

I like the sound of those hot ports in front of a real fire. I bet the chat was mighty!

Funny you should publish the above photo today. I spotted that big wheel in the distance last night and it looked very pretty all floodlit.

    Now I’m in trouble! 😮

I’ll bet you can see clear across the pond from the top of that giant Ferris Wheel. I will wave at you if you look my way when you’re on top. The sky is beautiful – too bad it wasn’t that way Saturday.

What is it a bout big ferris wheels? If we want a view we just climb THE Bridge! Glad you had a good time. It’s the company you keep rather than the weather that’s important.

    Baino,

It is my life’s ambition to climb that bridge and look out over Sydney Harbor.

What a spectacular view it must be.

Have you ever done it? As I say, I would love to do it but I am afraid I might back out at the last minute.

    Morning everyone,

GM has waved her visitors on their way and am alone once more and ready to pay attention to my virtual friends. The whole weekend was fun.

We didn’t manage a trip on the big wheel this time. But you have to leave something for the next trip.
