    Of course not, that was just the posh language they used to impress their followers. In private it was the same language we use – “Pass the friggin bread, you plonker” etc.

    When I saw the “Ten Commandments” the whole theatre cracked up at that line.

    No Jennifer, it lost a lot in the translation oh, and it gained a lot too!
    I just found that out today ……. about 8 verses at the end of Matthew apparently at the very least!
