Do you like to be challenged?

Yesterday while taking part in a meme set by Nick, I was required to set some questions for others.  In life I never like to ask others to do what I am not prepared to try myself.  I set seven questions to tax the minds of other Bloggers, so over the next few weeks I will take a question and answer it.  Now for question No. 1.

Do you like to be challenged?

In the past I was challenged whether I liked it or not:

I climbed the tree and scraped my knee
My dress it got a tear.
I walked the wall and did not fall,
The boys they stood to stare.
Underneath my headscarf I had rollers in my hair
My mother tried her best to tame Ma..reee…ah!

I hope you were singing along

I like to be challenged but not too much. A serious crisis usually sends me into a total panic until I gradually calm down and work out what to do about it.

Ramana – I could hear you all the way over here! 😆

Nick – In a crisis I deal then feel! Autopilot takes over and I work in a calm and practical way, it is usually much later that I realise and deal with my own stresses.

I like a challenge as I find it’s the best way to get things done.

I’d be very like you, GM in terms of being calm and practical when faced with a crisis.

It’s only when a crisis is over that I feel the stress and then I’m good for nuttin’

Yes, I’ve always liked a challenge – oh you can’t do that! – would always bring a big TRY to me.
However the challenge of things going wrong drive me up the proverbial wall, that’s when my worst traits come out, impatience, frustration, procrastination.

Steph – I don’t use a challenge to get things done, I prefer a ‘carrot’ to play with such as sewing or crafts, for when the chores are done!

Mayo – Did you give up and go back to bed?

Judy – I was just making sure.

WWW – “You’ll never finish it!” did the same for me. I think a blog post idea is forming…..
