The word count says ‘0’ and I have no idea how I am going to make it at least ’00’ with a one in front of it for this post today. I am sure that I am not the only person to feel like this at times.
Some days the inspiration just flows like a waterfall, and next thing the thought flow dries up leaving great vacant cracks like ravines where the thoughts should be.
It is much the same with conversations… those with people you speak to nearly every day. At times they are scintillating or awe inspiring, yet at other times almost laboured with a feeling of distraction. Times when the tone is solemn, and serious situations are discussed and problems shared. Happy times of celebration and good news are easy.
I always like to end on a cheerful note with laughter. Who knows, it might be the last conversation I ever have with that person, and I would like to leave a lasting memory of easy happy laughter.
It is the variety that makes these conversations worthwhile, never knowing which way a topic will lead, what I will learn or even rediscover about myself. Today there are so many ways to have these conversations, face to face, on the phone, chatting online or via Skype.
I love the sound of voices and sure they often give me something to blog about! 😉
