Food Monday ~ Quick Veg Soup

Quick Veg Soup

1 each – potato, carrot, courgette and onion grated.

Sauté in a little oil.  Add zest of 1 orange, vegetable stock and some red lentils.  Cook until tender.

Serve with wheaten bread or fresh crusty roll.

    We don’t have to be Inspector Lewis to figure out that you were in a mad rush when you posted this
    bare-bones recipe.

    Did you have a toy boy waiting to whisk you away for a romantic rendezvous at an out-of-the-way B&B in the countryside?

    Take one can of Campbells Vegetable Soup and one can of Campbells Beef Soup,mix together in a saucepan and heat.

    Nancy – Now Nancy, don’t you go telling everyone about my secret rendezvous with Toyboys! 😉 That is the quickest soup recipe I ever came across.

    WWW – I often start out like this recipe, but end up with all but the kitchen sink in the pot.

    Red Top – Toyboys never end up in my soup.
