Happy Green Day!

This wish was on a card that came to me last year and I liked it so much, I thought I would share it!

The blog world never fails to fascinate me. I learn so much from it as do, I understand, my blog’s readers. I think that it would be appropriate then, to share this great shloka with you and your readers:

    Om Saha Nau-Avatu |
    Saha Nau Bhunaktu |
    Saha Viiryam Karava-Avahai |
    Tejasvi Nau-Adhii-Tam-Astu Maa Vidviss-Aavahai |
    Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih ||

    Meaning:
1: May God Protect us Both (the Teacher and the Student),
2: May God Nourish us Both,
3: May we Work Together with Energy and Vigour,
4: May our Study be Enlightening, not giving rise to Hostility,
    5: Om, Peace, Peace, Peace.

Happy St. Patrick’s day to you.

Mayo – Thank you. I am bound to put on weight with all the partying this past week.

Delirious – Were your three wishes to come true, life would be perfect.

Yesterday I was at a meeting with lunch and someone had converted the coconut ice (pink topping) to a green topping…

The month before it had been Pancake Tuesday and 2 people had baked them for us.

Yes I know they are different days as St Pats was earlier in the week but it was the a nice addition…

Cathy – I had a very quiet St Patrick’s Day yesterday with my sister, we walked a beach, had coffee and then returned home to ‘drown the shamrock’ and enjoy the remainder of the day together.
