Perspective

At the beginning of the week I lightly shared my loss of beauty following a fall.

It was all put into perspective last night.

Firstly, Krishnamurthy Rajgopaul passed away. RIP. He was the the 95 year old father of Ramana Rajgopaul and his sister Padmini Natarajan, both well loved members of our Loose Bloggers Consortium.

The second call brought news of a thirty three year old young lady called Liz. She had gone to hospital the previous day complaining of chest pain thought to have something to do with her ribs.

She died overnight from a brain aneurysm. She leaves behind a grieving partner and an 18 months old daughter. Following her death, hospital staff broke the news to her family that she was expecting twins.

My heart goes out to all who are mourning and dazed by the loss of loved ones.

We never know the day or hour.

Be good to those you love and TELL them how much you love them and don’t just assume they know.

Thursday Special ~ Names

Su Wong marries Lee Wong. The next year, the Wongs have a new baby.

The nurse brings over a lovely, healthy, bouncy, but definitely a Caucasian, WHITE  baby boy.

“Congratulations,” says the nurse to the new parents. “Well Mr. Wong, what will you and Mrs. Wong name the baby?”

The puzzled father looks at his new baby boy and says,

“Well, two Wongs don’t make a white, so I think we will name him………………………”
