As you’re ringing out the old year
And you’re ringing in the new,
don’t forget the best year ever
is sincerely wished for you!
May the future bring you
Enriching days, happy hours and
Meaningful moments.
WWW – ‘bells on and buttons down the middle’ is very familiar to me, but although Mammy & I were born in Dublin, I have Clare, Limerick, Cork and Meath blood in my veins.
Oh yes, ring out the old year by all means. Every optomist hopes for a better year.
Regarding the recipe. I don’t want to copy it out owing to copyright, but you are such a good cook you can figure out the amounts. The recipe includes white or Italian kidney beans, green beans (or a green like collards), 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, 64 oz of light chicken broth, plum tomatoes and ditalini pasta. Just a basic soup, but I like it without too much tomato, hence the plum tomatoes.
Happy new year Grannymar! I look forward to seeing what the new year will bring!
Delores – Thank you, I look forward to hearing more of your adventures in China.
Wishing you a great new year.
Happy New Year, Grannymar! Aloha from Hawaii!
Back at ya, Cuz!
Happy New Year, Grannymar!
Backatcha, GM, with bells on and buttons down the middle (is that strictly a Cork expression?)
🙂
And meeting you in the flesh, so to speak was one of my pleasures of 2012!
XO

Dianne – Thanks for the recipe, I’ll have a try at that one.
