Happy Mother’s Day

Happy mothers day to all the Mothers out there!
It’s definitely not always the easiest job,
but it is the most rewarding!

I am looking forward to multiple hugs on my day of double celebration!

When you are dissatisfied
and would like to go back to your youth…
think of Algebra.

One of the many things
no one tells you about ageing
is that it is such a nice change
from being young.

Ah, being young is beautiful,
but being old is comfortable.

I hope Elly treats you damn right today on Irish mother’s day. I have to wait till May.

What’s this double of which you speak?

Is there another child stashed away somewhere?

Speak up missus, I can’t hear ya.

Thank you everyone for the good wishes for Mother’s Day and my Birthday. I had a wonderful day with hugs, of the real and virtual kind, phone and Skype calls, texts and emails. They began shortly after 01:00 and continued until almost midnight.

Mayo – I gave myself a hug and Elly gave me an extra squeeze in honour of your mother.

gigi – You are indeed fortunate.

Steph – Cake was good. Yum. Yum!

Barbara – Thank you and have a safe journey home today.

WWW – Elly, George and Buffy all looked after me very well. For the double celebration – Birthday and Mother’s Day. No hidden secrets.

Sorry we didn’t get to meet up this visit, I’m still recovering, and we had lots of partying to do! Utterly wrecked today, but staying home & warm & hopefully will be better again soon!

Barbara – I am only home in the last hour, managed coffee with your mum & dad this morning. It was great to catch up.

    Rest plenty and stay well!

Learn something new every day! Didn’t know mother’s day in Ireland was in March. Ours is in May and near mother’s day as well. Ironic. Hope both your “days” were special. Sorry it took me so long to get here.

Alice – Both fell on the one day this year, so I was really pampered. I remember you are a May flower, like my Elly.
