All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
~ William Shakespeare’s As You Like It,
How will you spend your time on stage on this World Theatre Artist Day?
Have fun playing your part!
Many moons ago, I had escorted a young boy to many movies. Today that young boy, now a respectable forty two year old gentleman escorted me to a movie and I thoroughly enjoyed playing the part of the helpless old man with a cane being escorted around by a young responsible man!
Methinks today I shall play the part of a happy guy and give the folks in my house a break from my normal curmudgeonly self. Leave ’em wondering…..
Ramana – Spending time with our offspring now that they are adults, can be a very enjoyable experience. I love special times with Elly.
shackman – Keeping the troops confused is a good ploy!
Play my part, Grannymar? Which one? Since every stage needs an audience that’ll be my part today, and I shall clap- enthusiastically. Curtains up.
U
I shall pretend to be a sane, sober, sensible member of society. And I’ll be glad when the curtain falls and I can go back to being my real self.
I have either entered late or exited early… I gave it my all though!
Ursula – I hope you enjoyed the show.
Nick – Enjoy both sides of the coin.
Brighid – But you made an appearance!
Firmly in the audience! I develop a stammer on stage 🙁
Barbara – What about back stage or front of house? Always plenty to do there and part of every show.
