Yesterday, the sky was so low and heavy it was almost sitting on my shoulders, so I ran away to see if I could find sunshine.
I didn’t quite run, I drove a short distance through very heavy rain with alternating spells of sunshine. I had a short walk but added plenty of steps to the exercise for the day.
Tiny quiet courtyard
If only….. my garden looked as neat as this!
The view over the gardens at Belfast Castle between the showers.
Nice views! We have been getting intermittent storms lately, The ground is so soaked, we turned off the sprinkler system.
gigi – As I type, the sky is partially blue but we have very strong wind howling about outside.
Love the courtyard, always dreamed of having a courtyard.

WWW – Me too, or a walled garden!
One of the advantages of having so much rain is to be able to have such lovely gardens.
Ramana – Do you think Yakob would like a working holiday in Northern Ireland?
May you always have sunshine, courtyards and, ornamental gardens in your life 😉
GFB – What a wonderful blessing! Thank you>
Beautiful!
I think spring has finally arrived here… certainly the trees do, they’ve gone into over-blossom all of a sudden, they are so heavily laden they look like they will fall down! And I went out without a coat today (admittedly wearing my warmest jumper, but still, its a change from my warmest jumper with hat scarf coat and gloves!) And, i’ve turned the heating DOWN to 20!!
Barbara – I saw a rhododendron bush in full blossom in the grounds of Belfast castle, but around me at home, things still look bleak and asleep. In the distance there were still a few white stripes on the hills (snow).
Pretty!
Yes, provided to and fro fare and board while there for him and Shobha are all taken care of. Shobha will not allow him to go alone.
Ramana – We will have to wait ’till the rain stops. We have had flood warnings all morning.
