I settled down at midnight and came too at 8 25am! 08:25 in the morning.
A first for me since about year-end 1991. The only trouble is that I still feel sleepy and if I am not careful, I might drift off again.
Now breakfast here I come…. Pity I have to make it myself. 🙁
That’s great! Though I’ve had sleep issues lately, they’re temporary. I can’t imagine having problems sleeping long term. May you have more tiny miracles!
Wow, I never get to sleep 8 hours. Usually, I get 5 hours. But, you are retired. You can take naps whenever you like.
Make yourself a good breakfast then you can take a nap! That’s what I do.
I had trouble sleeping last night, but it is because I have come down with a beastly spring cold and I just couldn’t get comfortable. Good sleep is the rule in my life, so the exception when experienced gives me compassion for your normal difficulty sleeping.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to find there is some causal link between us, some kind of a universal sleep bank account, where one of us withdraws sleep and the other cannot. If that is the case, I apologize for my greed!
Mike – I have no idea what I did differently yesterday, to make me sleep so well. I hoped I was not tempting fate to write about it.
gigi – I never go back to bed, or nap on the couch during the day.
Celia – A shower soon had me wide awake and ready for the day.
Tilly – Thanks.
Fossie – So it is all your fault! 🙁 So be a proper cuz and share more evenly 😉 Hope the cold bug passes quickly.
I sympathize, GM, being the type that can sleep on a clothesline and in public if necessary 🙂 and loving TOF’s take on it all.
I disagree – I would call it a major miracle, can you remember what you ate and drank and exercise, etc. There may be a link.
I crossed my fingers. No jinx…
WWW – You sound like mammy, she never had trouble sleeping. There was nothing unusual about the day before, in routine or my diet. I have my fingers and toes crossed tonight.
Another good night for sleep last night, though not quite as long as the previous one! 😀
That’s wonderful. 🙂
Congratulations. I hope that this will become a regular feature henceforth.
Thanks lads, I am pleased and hope the sleeping pattern continues.
Funny that happened to me too – have been staying up late but last night went to bed at 9:30 and didn’t get up until 7:30 and then didn’t get out of bed until 8:00. Didn’t even watch Men Men last night, just had to go to sleep.
That program goes on at 10:00 – 0ver at 11:00 – just couldn’t stay up.
Will watch it “On Demand” sometime this afternoon.
millie – Welcome to my blog. I am hoping that I have finally broken the cycle of interrupted sleep.
