Don’t believe a word Rummy says. He is just trying to make me jealous by paying compliments to all and sundry. It ain’t working. I am not the jealous type. Says she turning a whiter shade of green – or is it yellow.

Anyway, Grannymar, after your grand pronouncement I was trying to find your photo for evidence. Can’t send you link to inane article because I’ve forgotten where I came across it this morning. It was gross. Some woman, don’t know her age, bemoaning – graphically – things going south. One commentator said something about her skin hanging around her like a dressing gown on a bathroom door hook. Which is quite sweet as self assessments go. However, even if that were true (my mother is 80 and I can’t see any evidence) one sure shouldn’t mention going decrepit in polite society. So unladylike. Don’t you agree? Other than that: Give me brush, will paint. As long as it’s not gloss.

    Last shall be first today….

Celia – I have a great big smile on my face right now after my face lift!

Mayo – I tried standing on my hands for an hour and the lines all went the other way. Life is now looking UP!

Ursula – If I ever thought of having my face lifted/altered or any other part tucked, ‘mirror, mirror’ by Terry Prone (Confessions of a plastic-surgery addict)would send me running for the hills. It should in fact be compulsory reading for anyone contemplating going down that road.

Ramana – My face may not be my fortune, but it has served me well so far. I’ll stick with it.

Will – You are spot on. I am up and ready to to go.

    Post to follow.

My first reaction was “when did it fall?” Seriously, if anyone could use a “face lift” it would be “moi”, not you.

Alice – Ground kissing does not help, but the face lift today is on my blog.

We are all so out of touch with what our ages look like. I always loved what Gloria Steinem said when they told her she didn’t look 60 “this is what sixty looks like.” I’ve used it on many occasions myself.

yes, I know, I know, this is about your blog but I am a creature of habit and have been turned off blogs that suddenly went all flashy and glitzy and blingy.

Sometimes if it ain’t broke don’t fix it works very well indeed.
