I have a very casual relationship with alcohol. Sometimes we don’t see each other for weeks. I’m always being pressed for a closer relationship but I resist. Too much passion can easily end in tears.
I spent summer in a church hall for the dancing. Summer will still be here on Thurs, when I have to go back… I could probably have done with some of that 🙂
At first I thought this was the letter “B” (beer or bottle) inspired blog. But I was intrigued by the bottle in the middle (The middle finger is derogatory term in the US).
One of my favorite cheap restaurants serves over 100 types of beer from all over the world. I need to look for one or two of those shown above. Any recommendations?
Raising the middle finger is a derogatory sign in Ireland also. The collection above include ale, cider, lager & ginger beer. I have heard that Old Speckled Hen is a good one.
Yesterday? I went for a very short walk, a drive, filled the car with petrol, visited the supermarket and talked to interesting strangers, Then it was time for home to cook my dinner.
I’ll take one of each thank you very much – I’m a big guy with a large capacity and I lOVE beer – I also love checking out the independent brands for name and artwork on their labels. Much fun can be had 🙂

Nick, It is off my radar too, until my ribs are well healed.

speccy, have you no sun today? It is another pet day here.
Interesting selection, there. 😉
We very seldom drink any alcohol. Never really did on a regular basis.
Mike, I left them all behind me on the shelf of the supermarket. I was only interested in the names.
That’s what I figured. 😉

So, what did you do?

I used to like a cold beer, but my meds will not permit consumption of alcohol. If I drank, Old Peculiar sounds interesting. Dianne
My meds at the moment do not mix with alcohol.

Chuck, you have a choice: ale, cider or ginger beer. Not all in the one glass, I hope>
At first I thought Crabbie’s would fit me, but no I’m more the Spitfire…
Yep! I would class you as a Spitfire! 😀
My hubby would love to drink one of those beers. Me? I prefer champagne.
I’m off the alcohol at the moment. 🙁
I’m assuming that the 2nd from right was the favorite for The Iron Lady.
Somerset Cider? I thought G&T (Gin & Tonic) was her tipple.
