A new month, time for a change I think!
The things you used to care to do,
you no longer care to do,
but you really do care that
you don’t care to do them anymore.
The things you care to do,
May all be new to you.
but you really do care that
you do care to do them now!
Grannymar,
I clicked on your SHORT LIST banner for the first time today and just want to tell you how proud I am of you for making that list. I know the competition was keen and here’s hoping you win the top spot. You deserve it…
You are a wonderful writer and whether what you write is serious or funny I always enjoy it.
Good luck at the Awards!
Nancy L, The list of finalists was published last night and neither my niece Barbara nor I made the cut. I was surprised that I even made the short list this year. There are so many good blogs out there, and after all, I had my day. It is now time for others to enjoy the honours! Thank you for your constant support over the years.
Be absolutely determined to enjoy whatever you choose to do. 😉
I absolutely will!
That hit the spot I was just thinking today how changes just keep coming.
The change in the weather is very marked today. Dark dull, wet and much cooler.
Your blog either makes me hungry or makes me think. Both great results.
Think about food? Warren, do you think while eating, or eat while thinking? Sure there is no harm in either!
What a great focus for Octobering! My to do list keeps changing, and maybe some of the items just need to get crossed off permanently! I relate to the ambivalence that comes in that decision, though. The photo really cheered me!
Debra, my to do list fell by the wayside in September. I need to take a fresh look at it and see what else I can accomplish before the year ends.
Lovely picture and cute poem. Well done!
Thank you, gigi!
I’m taking 12 chickens to slaughter today. Do they care?
They know you cared for them and will dispatch them with due care.
