Five simple but important rules for living!
Reblogged from Spirit lights the Way
Mr. Jones, a 92-year-old man, decided to move to a nursing home when his wife of 70 years passed away. After hours of waiting on the morning of the move, he smiled when told his room was ready.
As he maneuvered his wheelchair to the elevator, the aide described his room, including the view from his window.
With the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy, he exclaimed, “I love it!”
Excellent, I like it 🙂 Sounds exactly like wilson…. We’re getting in the car – Yippee I love the car! We’re getting out of the car – Yippee, I love getting out! We’re leaving the house! – Yippee, I love going out! Let me out let me out let me out!!! We’re coming home – Yippee! I love coming home,,,, let me in, let me in, let me in!!!!
We could learn plenty from the Wilson’s of this world!
Hence my name for my blog 🙂
I liked that title from the word go!
🙂 If it wasn’t for that philosophy on life I would just give up completely!!! If I look back over the last year I have made hardly any progress health wise… But today is a new day 🙂
I have been living that way for ten years now. Not being allowed to drive since last September, is a toughie.
Great story. Dianne
