Today Peter was driving his Land-rover and trailer on the A3 motorway close to our house in the middle lane, when suddenly the vehicle lurched across the outside lane and crashed into the central barrier. The police on the scene thought that the accident was caused by a catastrophic failure of a part of the vehicle. The Land-rover is probably a write off, a wheel has come off and the axle is damaged.
Nobody was hurt, no other cars hit Peter’s land-rover or trailer. Travelling along the same part of the road a few hours later there was hardly half a car’s length between the cars, an accident then would have had horrific consequences.
Very relieved family in Weybridge xxx
Wow! These are just great. I’d have a hard time finding my favorite, but #67 was a good one. My mother had a similar experience long ago, and we always said she had an angel that pushed her “out of the way” and just in time. Thank you for these. They’re wonderful little stories.
Went through 1/5th…will read more anon…thanks so much…all of us need this reaffirmation that the world is a good place to live in nad that we are surrounded by loving, caring, sharing human beings!
So many cases of synchronicity! :=)
I suppose in 99 stories there are bound to be a few!
My cup runneth over GM, just like my eyes.

Numbers one and four really got me!
Interesting. I would skip the stories that make me feel maudlin, however. Dianne
I suppose, like life, we have a selection of both, the maudlin make us appreciate the good and happy times.
My favorite is #4! 😀
Number one and four did it for me!

Goodness, what a shock for Peter and all of you. Glad there were no injuries. Stay safe.
Indeed, very relieved this evening! xxx
I hope Peter was checked out by a Dr or at the hospital! If not, please make sure that he is.
yes i dragged him there yesterday, he was very reluctant. he has whiplash & bruising but otherwise he is fine xxx
Glad you did that. Sometimes injuries go unnoticed at the time, only to raise an ugly head further down the line.

I smiled all day after reading them.
Didn’t read all but some. Quite lovely.
