I looked like an idiot when I got on the bus this morning!

If anyone sees Nancy L, please relieve her of that heavy load, take her home and tell her I said “Thank you” for this little beauty today!
made me laugh out loud again! It is 9 degrees fahrenheit (-12 Celsius) where I am- so I get it!!
Laughter is good for the heart and helps to warm the body!
agreed!!
😀
It’s the other passengers who’ll look like idiots when the bus gets stuck in a 12 foot snowdrift!
True, But I hope she didn’t have to buy an extra bus ticket for that lot!
Quite a picture, made me laugh and I’m wearing long underwear even in the house.
Celia, full Length thermal Leggings, are this seasons ‘must have’. I would not survive without them!
Oh but this is funny! I hope the weather is exaggerated? Sounds cold…too cold! ox
4°C here at 16:00 and I am about to give in and light the fire for the evening!
I am so sick of this weather, have had to cancel so many appointments, repeatedly, Today is a new twist, 130k/hr winds. At least all the snow was blown from yesterday. Now for the ice…

Brrrrr! Stay safe and warm.
FUN! And brrr . . . it’s chilly here too.
I watched from indoors today!
One can never be too prepared! Now if you’ll excuse me, I must repair to my bomb shelter.
I was busy testing mine, and forgot to come out!
Good one> I heard the same thing yesterday and wondered if you need all that stuff if you are never far from a heat source.
I suppose it is for people travelling on the highways: Get stuck and there is no way to turn back.
We are in a drought here. It has been in the upper 70’s for weeks, with a drying North wind to boot. 64 last night at 9:30PM… We really need the moisture that seems to be all around us…sigh
I’ll send you some rain, we have more than enough!
🙂
You hardly need all that gear in your heat.
That made me laugh until I thought about all the “emergency” items I carry on my person in the form of a large handbag. Not a shovel and rocksalt, but I likely have enough bandages, aspirin, handkerchiefs, and antihistamines to operate a small outpatients.
I do keep a winter kit in the car, that thankfully I have never needed to use.
Sewing kit, small scissors, plasters, safety pins, hand wipes, tissues and a couple of individual sugar sachets were to be found in my bag. The last item was for a couple of friends who had diabetes.
