Yesterday after a long slow start, the foggy mist dissolved to allow the sun shine through. it was like a real spring day, allowing me to enjoy a walk, plenty of chatter, hugs and even a birthday kiss. Boy, does that do an old girl’s heart good. 😀
I even celebrated with coffee and a slice of chocolate cake before I headed up the hill and homeward.
The setting sun was actually visible on my horizon for the first time this year. I unlocked the back door to capture the moment.
Quickly transferring my efforts to the laptop via a card reader, an unusual pop-up appeared just above the clock on my desktop informing me there were six photos and immediately deleting……. the pop up disappeared!
I searched my folder for them, but alas they were gone. I replaced the card in my camera and switched it on to find the card was empty. 😡
It was only before shutting up shop for the night, that I discovered a folder on my desktop, dated 10-03-2014 and it contained the photos.
Then I found another conundrum. the photos were much smaller than usual. Grrrr!
Below are the best of the six:
Now to find out what has happened to my camera settings. Is there a mouse in my house playing games with me?
Very nice –
I see them as moody views! Is that the name of a song?
Nice to have birthday cake, though. I am sorry you lost some of your photos, but the ones you posted are dreamy.
I have found the photos, but they are all very small. I need to find the book that came with the camera to sort it out. I did enjoy the cake.
Nice sunny sunset. We started yesterday out with fog, too — thick fog –, unusual for us. However it ended up being a nice spring day, hopefully the first of many.
Mike we are well overdue some vitamin D from the skies.
I have stereo speakers in my house that have mysteriously stopped working. There is no explanation. You work on your camera and I will figure something out on my end. And we both have sun! 🙂 Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy! It’s good for your bones. 🙂
Now to sort out how photos have shrunk from 4000 x 3000 to 640 x 480 pixels. 😡
Wednesday morning cars outside have a layer of frost and the mist is hanging around, but hopefully it will pull back to reveal another lovely day.
You are celebrating sunshine and we are celebrating unseasonal rains here! That is the city folks are. The farmers are depressed because these unseasonal rains cause havoc to standing crop and particularly the mango crop now in the post bud stage,
We have had a long wait in my neck of the woods for the sun to appear. I do realise that the farmers need rain, but at the right time. There were fields round Ireland that turned to lakes for the duration too. Sad news for us is that we will pay more for our fruit and vegetables this year.
I’m glad you had lovely weather . . . and cake! Enjoyed the sunset snaps. Hope you figure out the camera settings.
