I woke up before 6 am this morning and was frozen to the bone. Seriously. It was 3°C. almost twelve hours later it is 13°C. It is dire that I cannot perspire to inspire.
However, there are quite a few dead and buried in paupers’ graves who inspired long after having expired. Amazing when you think about it: They gave the world genius, shunted in their lifetime only to be revered long after being put six foot under. My only comforting thought on that score my mother drawing Fontane’s poem to my attention, the gist of which: All the world’s accolade means nothing if YOU yourself don’t have pride in yourself/of yourself. Poor translation but am sure you know what I mean.
Or at least be inspired!
I try to find some person or thing to inspire me everyday.
and some time in the middle, retire. 😉
Mike, I try to retire at a reasonable hour each night! 😀
We can’t change the world, but we can inspire the world to change.
Little by little every day.
Since it would require that I tire and perspire the thought if it is dire.

I’ll conspire with you to do just that! 🙂
Inspiring conspiring!
Yes, Grannymar.

One thing in life I have learned: There are always exceptions.
Too late. I may be full of hot air, but I’m outta breath!
A little rest and you will be ready to begin all over again, Dianne!
