I went for a walk.
Got a hug and a kiss,
Discovered the bus times
Heard of another broken hip,
Turning a corner in search of green fields
There were laneways and roadworks
And trees with no leaves,
Natives were friendly and curious to,
They came running to greet me
with the odd gentle Moo!
A weekend of sunshine brightened the countryside.
Those laneways makes me soooooo homesick. 🙁
I love those long laneways, we have plenty of them around here.
Clever. I’m still trying to find Thomas the tank engine on your map posted yesterday. Love the island of shit cats.
Dianne,The Manx cat, in earlier times often spelled Manks, is a breed of domestic cat originating on the Isle of Man, they have no tail.
I’m wondering why this is titled, “My legs wont’ work”. Can you explain?
I walked too far and my legs ached when I came home!
Tis a beautiful place you live in. Young heifers are ever curious.
Now that the days have brightened and nature is waking up for another year!
Gorgeous scenery! Thanks for sharing your sights with us.
We had three days of sunshine, then yesterday it could not make up its mind, glad I went walkabout on Tuesday, it was still a holiday, so traffic was light and the weather proved better than today.
Lovely laneways. We are afflicted with roadwork too, hope yours is more helpful than hindering. Love your map, forwarded especially the shit cats and Liam Neeson, 😉
The roadworks you see has been part of a long promised dual-ling for a main highway. The little road I was on, needs the flyover to reach the other side and a new slip road to take us left. (We drive on the left). The maps were fun!
Gorgeous countryside. Those cows were obviously hoping you had brought them a treat. Did you?
Al, I would be afraid to feed any livestock, not because I was city girl born and bred, but the farmer might not be pleased if I upset their diet!
On a fine day, the countryside is wonderful.
