Thursday Special ~ Two pumpkins
One day two pumpkins, who were best friends, were walking together down the street. They stepped off the curb and a speeding car came around the corner and ran one of them over.
The uninjured pumpkin called 911 and helped his injured friend as best he was able. The injured pumpkin was taken to emergency at the hospital and rushed into surgery.
After a long and agonizing wait, the doctor finally appeared. He told the uninjured pumpkin, “I have good news, and I have bad news.
The good news is that your friend is going to pull through.”
The bad news is…..
He’s going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life.

Thank you Frank for this timely little number.
They say a pun is the lowest form of humor. With this joke, you’ve carved out a special place on the bottom rung.
Al, not far to fall from the bottom rung!
Pity that the friend did not get to be squashed!
Then we could call him soup!
Bwahaha! Perfect for Halloween.
I am running out of steam with this theme. I need to find a few children to help me.
Groan…
Halloween was never a big event over here. It is only in the past few years that we are following the American style celebration.
Yaeh – that’s a groaner as opposd to a coffee spitter – I was expecting a pie though – LOL
Now pumpkin pie is something I have never made or tasted.
I’m with Chuck, thought the pumpkin would be flattened like a pie. Oh GM, pumpkin pie is soooo delicious, it’s my favorite. With whipped cream.

For years, pumpkins were something we saw in American movies. Now they are available in the shops, but so big, I avoid them. I know Elly makes pumpkin soup, but I await an invitation from any of my American friends to make it for me…. without the cream, my body cannot tolerate it.
