At my current stage of life, I have all the time to think about all the very important choices that I have to make like, whether to have coffee or tea, biscuit or chakli, Hindi movie or English movie, sleep or read and so on and so forth. Do you have the time to read if I listed all the choices I make?
The big choices should never be made in a hurry. You should take as long as it needs. Otherwise, to paraphrase the well-known phrase – act in haste, repent at leisure.
Example: I wear glasses now. Glasses + sunglasses push the hearing aid out from behind my ear, so I don’t wear them outside. Husband said today, You need to hear the rattlesnakes. They even come to the yard for water during drought.
So do I pay $1500 for another hearing aid or get bit by the rattlesnake. I’ll have to get bit.
I think I’ll follow this advice….wait….maybe not……I’m just not sure…..OK, no…..wait….yes.
Al, I hope you are really really sure!
lol

Careful! You are beginning to sound like an old man!
Wise advice.
Then when the choice is made, be prepared to take the consequences.
And that’s the point isn’t it – take all the time you need but don’t complain about the choice you made. Kick yourself but do it quietly lol
Cathy
Yes, Cathy, complain if you must, but silently!
I’ll go along with our Indian friend on this one … Umm.. except for the “chakli” and “Hindi movie”. .. 🙂
See! You are making decisions without thinking about them, John!
I am never lost. I sometimes take the scenic root, however.
That’s route…still have a bit of jet lag.
Dianne, I hope you are having fun with your family!

Yes, Nick, the leisure can go on forever!
That sign is me exactly. Choices sometimes seem impossible. Love, love, love your heading pic. Makes my day, in this very cold one.—-brrrrrrrrrr.

Tough decision, BHB, take your time and think well before you decide.
Too bad many of us do not learn this simple concept early in life
But if we knew all the answers at the beginning, Shackman, life would be boring.
