The other day my neighbour came running up to me in the driveway just jumping for joy! I didn’t know why she was jumping for joy. I thought, what the heck, and I starting jumping up and down along with her.
She said, “Sally, I have some really great news!”
I said, “Great. Tell me why you’re so happy.”
She stopped jumping and, breathing heavily from all the jumping up and down, told me that she was pregnant!
I knew that she had been trying for a while so I told her, “That’s great! I couldn’t be happier for you!”
Then she said, “There’s more.”
I asked, “What do you mean ‘more’?”
She said, “Well, we are not having just one baby. We are going to have twins Amazed at how she could know so soon after getting pregnant, I asked her how she knew.
She said… “That was the easy part. I went to Wal-Mart and they actually had a home pregnancy kit in a twin-pack. Both tests came out positive!”
Goodness, I’ve been buying all those twin-packs not realising they were only meant for twins. I’m surprised the cashier never points it out.
Nick, be careful of those twin packets…. sometimes the items work out cheaper when sold as singles!
Your neighbour wouldn’t be a blonde by any chance would she ??
Hey! I resemble that remark! 😛
Now girls, no fighting. ‘Tis the season to be Jolly!
As it happens, one of my neighbours is a blonde!
BTW – Like the new look 🙂
Thank you Cathy. The Toyboys not alone brought my blog back to life, they updated it as well!
Funny, GM!
Glad you enjoyed it, Nancy,
Good one…:-D
Glad you enjoyed it, DM.
Darn. Now I forget who exactly are the Toyboys. (Worst part of getting old-er, losing memory.)
BHB, There are at least fifty badge wearing Toyboys, and about six of them offered to help on Monday. Some of them have been around since I began blogging in 2006, they never forget me and often drag me out of the quicksand. I appreciate every one of them.
Good thing she didn’t buy the six-pack.
Lol! I never thought of that one, Al.
LOL
😀
Good one–and one I will be able to remember so that I can repeat it! LOL! Very funny! And I love your banner photo, Marie. Your blog looks beautiful!
Debra, enjoy retelling the tale! The blog had a good old face wash and looks fresh and clean once more.
Rimshot worthy but the display is safe 🙂
Phew!
Good thing that the test kits weren’t on ‘BOGOF’ ! … 🙂
LOL!
The scary thing is, there are people like this…here in Virginia.
