So true. I was always, for 40 years on hikes, looking down & my posture was suffering. Someone said to look Ahead at the trail & not at my Feet. I never did, but now my new mantra is think TALL -Head Up.
Marie, cross-eyed comes to mind, but I’ve never seen someone with one eye looking up & the other down. 😀
Always look up & not down, forward & not backward.
With uneven pavements and the odd loose flagstone, I like to keep one eye on the ground.

I watch the path ahead and draw my eye closer for rough uneven ground. Better to be safe than sorry.
That’s exactly what my husband tells me. Do both, look ahead AND at your feet.
Good advice, listen to Tom!
Beautiful night sky.
Yes it was!
It sure was. Today is more foggy and the sunset is rather watery compared to yesterday.
That’s lovely, reminds me of the sunsets of my childhood!
Elly, hopefully from now to October I will see many more!
Awesome! We had a gorgeous day today too. It’s easier for me to feel content when the sun is shining.
Nancy, the sunshine warms my heart AND my bones. This morning I cannot see beyond the garden we are shrouded in 2°C fog!
So typical of you. You have got me curious. What does the cropped portion look like?
The cropped portion shows an extension on the house next door, I only wanted the view!
Beautiful sky, I’m glad you captured it and shared. Very dark clouds and high winds here, but back to clear and 70’s next week.
The few worthwhile sunsets of the past three months were in line with my bungalow and out of my view. I love when the sunset moves into view.
