Dreary, grey and puddle wet

I have almost forgotten what clear daylight is like.

The caption below the photo is the date and time.

Anyone got any coloured cellophane that I can stick to the inside of the windows to make the outside world look brighter?

Maybe I should go bake a cake to distract myself.

Yes it is Nancy, and seems to be going on forever! Do you think if I clean my windows it might improve? 😉

DM, as I get older, it is more difficult to stop the dreary dullness seep into my spirit. I do try. Very hard!

There was a little break in the clouds this morning, so I did head out for a short while, dodging the heavy showers as much as I could.,

We need to remember these dismal dark and/or cold days when the brighter, warmer days finally arrive to appreciated the pleasant days all the more.

Mike I often wonder if I dreamed we had good weather last summer. The problem in Ireland, is we often have all four seasons in one day. I need some sunshine to warm my bones.

Definitely a cake making day. I hate grey and gloomy and turning the lights on inside makes it even worse to look out of the window. Grey here today but at least it’s milder and I can see snowdrops through the window.

I hear ya. Here I’ve been confined to barracks and am far too excited at the thought of maybe getting OUT tomorrow if the forecast of only 1cm of snow is correct.

I am stir crazy, as you must be.

I did get out yesterday, but it was no weather for me to go outoor wandering. A little retail hunt for a paticular spatula was unsuccessful, but I enjoyed browsing amongst some bright colours!
