Thank you. Gives me great pleasure to reciprocate.
Thank you, Ramana.
And may the world be a greener place!
How wonderful that would be, Padmini!
Thanks, GM. We may do a wee bit of celebrating today as BFF is 1/2 Irish.
Nancy, today the whole world is Irish! Sláinte!
Spoken like a true Irishwoman. Happy St Patrick’s Day, Marie.
Thank you, Al. I hope I am a true Irishwoman, as well as being a good citizen of the world!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Aloha from Hawaii.
Thank you Gigi.
My friend Kathy called me this morning to play “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” over the phone. Later she will bring Irish soda bread over. Its nice to know someone Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day.
Years ago when I worked on the Hill most of the congressional staffers were Boston Irish and on Saint Patrick’s day they all drank green beer in a Capitol Hill pub. I attended one such rowdy event.
Dianne, green beer is an American thing, as is using the term/word ‘Patty’ in relation to our National Holiday, and the latter is abhorrent to all true Irish people.
With last names like Rafferty and O’Leary and working for Tip O’Neal, I could have sworn they were Irish-Americans.
They may well be, but you would NEVER find green beer in Ireland. The drink of the day is Guinness – black stout.
My son and I toasted St. Patrick with a shot of Jameson this evening. Gave me a warm glow.
My father liked a chaser of Jameson after his pint of Guinness at night time. Hope you had an enjoyable day!
Saint Paddy’s Day … Bugger ! .. I missed it ! .. Hope you enjoyed it Grannymar .. 🙂
I did my best, John. I did my best!
