How do we know people only live once? We might live over and over again. Which would be pretty tedious if we remembered every detail of our previous lives.
I see that you do it “my way”. I have a brother 16 yrs. younger than I am. When he was 3 he said ” They do it they way & we do it we way.” A lesson I still need to work on, because I think ‘My Way’ (Frank Sinatra song) –my way is the Best Way.
I hope she’s right . . . I don’t want to reincarnate as a politician. Or a goat!

Nancy, once round the clock is enough for me. When it is over, it will be over!
If we get a choice in the matter, I’m not coming back either.
Nancy, with my luck I’d be returning as a wriggling worm or a slithery snail. No thanks
More than, actually!
I agree, Ramana.
I don’t think I have gotten anything right the first time, so Once is not nearly enough.
Brighid, we all make some mistakes along the way because we are human! You have many achievements – just look at your family!
I’m with her there! 🙂
I may not have done everything ‘the right way’, but at least I have tried, and that is enough.
From all I’ve seen and read, she did it right. Her movies with W.C. Fields were classics.
Al, she (Mae West) did it right and I’ll do it my way…. Once!
Incarnation, reincarnation, who knows. One thing for sure, we don’t get a choice.
The longer I live, the more I belive that heaven and hell are here and now and we choose which to live in! When I’m gone, I’m gone. End of!

Nick, I am not into the fairy tales of reincarnation. I have worked hard enough in this life not to want to repeat it!

BHB, I like your brother’s way!
So how come that she said … “I’ll try anything once, twice if I like it, three times to make sure” ?
That was in this life, John! 😉
It’s been a while since I listened to Perry Como – thanks fr that one. It’s a great tune.
glad you enjoyed it, Shackman.
Well, if we do it more than once we don’t remember enough of it to remember, or we wouldn’t have to debate about it, would we? 😀
Never thought of it like that, Deb!
