A long catch-up updated.

We have talked about it for six months.

Yesterday was the day and we had six years to catch up on.

First time round we were part of a larger group so the chat was general. Six whole years yet it felt like it was only one single day since we met. Just the two of us with no interruptions so the conversation flowed. Easily.

I was meeting fellow blogger Nelly, from Nelly’s Garden.  She suggested we meet at Clotworthy House where we had coffee before wandering the grounds of Antrim Castle Gardens.

I love this place and have visited and blogged about it on several occasions.

We walked and talked we sat to enjoy the scenery and talked until we talked ourselves dry so we needed another coffee before we parted and went our separate ways. I hope it will not take another six years before we meet again.

Last Sunday I was invited out to lunch and that was a three hour affair before we parted. My meet-up with Nelly was Tuesday. Yesterday I had coffee with a total stranger and we talked for two and a half hours. I am hoping to meet Elly & George for lunch on Saturday, so it is one very special week!.

I can imagine the time was too few for the catching-up to have more than a slight dent!
Lovely place. Unfortunate name. It seems worthy of far more than a clot!

I love that place there is always a new angle to photograph. Sharing it with Nelly was special.

i agree and feel that we already know each other from the inside without the distraction of the outer packaging.

How wonderful to have taken the time for such special visits with friends. It would be so nice if you could meet Nelly with more frequency. Your ability to spend so much time together sharing deeply would indicate great compatibility! And the garden grounds are very special. I don’t know what those trees are with the spectacularly “expressive” limbs…I love those! 🙂

Debra, Nelly and I have promised to make time to meet more often, She has a busy life with plenty of calls on her time. I must watch out for the gardners next time I visit and ask about the trees.

Not the clearest photos, Nancy but they were four tiny ducklings with legs going a mile a minute!

I met Elly & George half way yesterday and we had lunch and a blustery walk with Buffy the dog. It was all good fun. My face was licked away by little madam! I was tired when I got home, it was a round trip of 119 miles!

It was especially good Maxi, as Elly will be off on her travels (work) this weekend, for a few more weeks.
