“She’s Gone”

No. I am not talking about the song,

I mean ‘Yer wan who thinks she should be obeyed’. Elly! 😉

Sunday was the end of official posturing, so Monday and Tuesday were observation days to see how I managed when putting drops in my own eyes, making lunch and dinner. Elly was well satisfied so there was no need to keep her away from George, Buffy and her office colleagues.

She was here at the important time… when I needed her, so I was willing and happy for her to return home.

Today was quiet, but I had food, music, audio books and my crochet to keep me happy.

My eye is improving every day, so I am one happy bunny!

Cathy, I have a pass to be lazy ( no heavy lifting, dragging or vacuuming) for a few more weeks.

She is a wonderful daughter. Bless her. I am glad that you are making good progress. Keep it up and return to normalcy soon. And, the gone girl is just a hop step and a jump away from you!

Yes, Ramana, Elly is like Gold dust – here when I really need her. I gave her life, but not a life sentence to be at my beck and call, I try to be independent, but know when I need to ask for her help.

Maxi, Last Friday I could see nothing through the operated eye, this morning I can see everything. I will need my glasses changed but not for a few more weeks. The sight needs time to settle. Your prayers are working!

Gigi, I am indeed fortunate to have Elly, she stays until I am in the safe place – able to do all the tasks for independent living!

Nancy, Elly is the best, and a great blessing to me. This morning Saturday, the bubble has gone from my eye and I can see clearly!

Delighted to hear the team of Elly and GM sorted everything post surgery. Good on ye both and delighted you are able to fly solo now.
    Keep it up missus 😀

WWW, between us we had prepared for all contingencies, but thankfully sticking strictly to the surgeons instructions, I improved in a much shorter time. I was happy to release Elly and let her back to George & Buffy.
