Missing in action?

Not me!

I am doing fine. I have been so fortunate, I never expected such a speedy result.

The bubble has cleared from my eye and I can see! I am still fiddling with eye drops four times a day which cause the pupil to remain dilated, thus my self imposed lack of online activity.

Crocheting proved to be easier on my eyes in the past few weeks and I am almost finished a cardigan/jacket… only about twenty more rows to go. Typical me, I see the cardigan in my head – no paper pattern, but it seems to be working out.

I am driving again and getting out when I can.

I hope to resume more regular blogging after I see the Consultant on Tuesday next, 22nd September.

Life is good… even if the evenings are drawing in and the mornings are cooler…. But that had other benefits:-

Drawing the curtains and cosying up to the fire!

Hi again, Marie. We’ve finalized our plans for our London trip next June. Barbara has all the details. Hope you can visit when we are there.

What a good report, Marie. I’m so glad to know you’re healing well and it will be lovely to have you begin regular posting again. You’ve been missed, but it’s good to know you’re taking care of yourself. How nice to head towards the end of the year with good eyesight!

Debra, I go back to the hospital this afternoon and hopefully they will be as pleased as I am. Time to reorganise my routine to allow for the blog world again.

So pleased to hear that things are going well for you, Marie. My wife is now recovering from her first cataract operation which seems to have gone well despite complications due to other health problems. Best wishes … John

Thank you, John and hope that your good lady is recovering well now. We are so fortunate to live in a time when so much can be done to repair or inprove our vision.
