Merry Christmas Marie, and a wonderful new year ahead, filled to the brim with adventures! Thought of you when I saw a stack of crocheted hats in the waiting room at the oncologists. They were free to patients who had lost their hair. Someone has found a beautiful way to help those going through chemo. I must get out my hook and start again.
Thank you, Brighid. I love the idea of the crocheted hats, they have to be more comfortable than the scratchy underside of wigs. I was sitting up in bed at 3am this morning finishing the last few rows of a hat for Elly. There was no hurry – I was just wide awake for most of the night and it helped pass the time.
Yes, WWW, a table surrounded by bloggers from all corners of the world… I have been fortunate in my nine years of blogging to meet up with many bloggers for coffee, lunch or dinner… In fact one brought me home to meet his parents. Go on beat that!
*suspiciously* That bit in green – are you cussing us in Irish?
Hope you have had and are having a super holiday period, putting you in the mood to enjoy a wonderful 2016.
😆 Not sure I would get away with cussing anyone in Irish or otherwise. The red is a direct translation of the Irish (green) greeting. My day was spent quietly on my own so I should be well rested before the invasion by Buffy, Elly & George on Tuesday. The meals are all planned so it will be a couple of fun filled days.
Your post is so lovely and heartwarming. I hope you had a beautiful Christmas, Marie. I spent all day yesterday helping to succeed the big Christmas lunch for about 400 poor and/or lonesome people and families. It was a beautiful feast and a great experience for me. I think I will do it again next year. – I bet you’re looking forward to the 29th, each day more and more. I wish you a wonderful and a happy family reunion.
Big hugs from my heart!
Thank you, Irmi. I am all sorted for Tuesday & Wednesday with the food prepared and ready to go in the oven each day, That will leave me free to enjoy and chat to Elly & George and to play with Buffy their little dog.
A beautiful greeting, Marie. Best wishes for you and your family for the holidays and the new year.
Thank you Lin, and may your festivities live up to your expectations, for the season and the year ahead,
Merry Christmas
Thank you, Dawn.
Lovely, Marie … Have a great Christmas and a happy and healthy new year … ‘Friend’ John.
John, May the year ahead be happy and healthy for all of us.
Thank you Grannymar. I reciprocate with great pleasure.
Ramana, I hope your day went well with the family visitors!
Hope your Christmas is overflowing with HOLLY JOLLY!
Nancy, the HOLLY JOLLY begins on 29th so I have plenty of time to relax before that.
Merry Christmas from New Zealand
Thanks for the warm New Zealand Greetings. I hope your day goes well.

Happy, Happy Christmas from South Africa, it is raining at last 🙂 Laura
Thank you, Laura. It is wonderful how blogging shrinks the world, with greetings from Germany, India, New Zealand, South Africa, USA & the UK.

I passed a not-so-young woman who said the new ‘Happy Holidays’. I said ‘Merry Christmas’. She said YES, Marry Christmas!
Very good, BHB. Seasons greetings to you and may 2016 be kind to you.
Typo or was it Brainblock?–Marry instead of Merry.
